3 at 3::Graphic Tees

If there is one thing I can't live without, you know, besides Jesus, Matt, coffee, LSU football, and my dogs, it's graphic tees.  They make up probably 50% of my outfits.  I tuck them into skirts, wear them with skinny jeans and high-tops, they are great with all the new printed harem pats out there.  And they are super cozy.  In fact, my friend Caroline said the other day she thought she could pretty much be okay from here on out with just some good t-shirts and a couple blazers.  I agree wholeheartedly, Caroline.  Here are my 3 picks at 3:00 for this last day of April!
1 "Surf the Earth" tee by Surf Bazaar, $66 // 2 All Saints Tigre Boyfriend Tee, $68 //
3 Project Social T Los Angeles, $34

3 At 3::Maxi Dresses

3 at 3:00.  Every day this week. That's my goal.  Clearly, I have already missed it for today, as it is 6, and I am just now posting.  But I have decided instead of doing my fave trends for Spring, etc., etc., all in one post, that it would be way more fun to spread it out all week by showing 3 faves for the season in several categories every day.  At 3 pm.

We begin with the maxi dress.  Maxi dresses are one of my favorite things to wear when it's hot outside.  I don't always love myself in a pair of shorts, and let's be honest, it's hard to find a pair out there these days that aren't showing cheek.  A maxi dress can be dressed up or down.  With flat sandals, it's a day out running errands, just breezing around.  With a small wedge, you're ready for a dinner date.    They're also great for napping in my opinion, because it's like you're wearing a built-in blanket.  When it's hot outside, sometimes you just have to take 'er easy.  Am I right?

Statement Necklaces Without the Statement Price

Sometimes I order necklaces for my clients, and sometimes I keep them.  Oops.  The problem is that I get lots of statement pieces for photo shoots, and the jewels are so sparkly and amazing that it's like they destroy all my good reason, and the next thing you know, I'm telling Beth not to return them because I'm keeping them for future shoots.  Read:  I'm keeping them for myself.

Truly though, if you're like me, and you run around a lot in t-shirts and jeans with the occasional blazer, nothing takes an outfit up a notch like a statement necklace.  Prime example, look at this gal in all black.  Pretty simple outfit.  You probably have all these pieces in your closet right at this very moment.  Add one of the  necklaces below (all around $50 or under), and suddenly, you're a knockout.

LipGloss Junkie::"Can't Live Withouts"

Hey guys!  Happy Friday!  Carrie is about to tempt you to leave work and drive directly to Sephora and spend your entire paycheck.  Sorry 'bout it, but sister knows her products. Listen up!  -AL

Ok. So.  I have a problem. Not only am I lipgloss junkie, but i have turned into a total product junkie. Birchbox is to blame. They get me hooked on all these fab little samples and then I can't live without them. And since I'm all about instant gratification, off to Sephora I go...Here are some of my recent "can't live withouts".

This one is packed full, so buckle your seat belts.. ;)

Stay Don't Stray Eyeshadow Primer, $26
This is the most amazing eyeshadow/concealer primer I have ever used. I have to admit, before this product, I wasn't sold on eyeshadow primers. But, this one truly works! My eyeshadow and concealer last ALL day. Not kidding. It's a miracle. It also eliminates that pesky eyeshadow creasing.
Murad Oil-Control Mattifier, $39.50

I don't even know where to start here. This product is life-changing! It makes my foundation go on SO smoothly! It's a three-in-one moisturizer that mattifies immediately  and controls oil for up to eight hours.

Dior Addict Lipgloss in Delice, $29.50
(sorry it looks like a slime blob, but I wanted to get the color accurate!)
Dior Addict Extreme Lipstick in Diablotine, $31
Want the perfect coral lip for spring and summer? Here it is. Layer them for a delicious, shiny lip. There is a reason they call it "Addict"...

DermStore Lip Quench Lip Treatment, $12
This is by far the best lip treatment/moisturizer I have found. I put it on before bed and it's still on when I wake up! It is the perfect consistency. Love!
Make Up Forever HD Foundation, $42
I love this foundation! It has the most amazing coverage and feels SO light. You don't even feel like you are wearing foundation. It seriously gives you a flawless face. A big thanks to the awesome Angelica Smith at Style Kitchen for this hot tip.

I could go on and on...I've been on a product buying binge. (My poor hubs) More to come!!  Oh! In the pic below I am wearing all these products :-).

xoxo-

If you want to read more about the collaboration between fashionABLE and ONE, head on over to the fashionABLE blog to learn more about it!

Genet scarf, fashionABLE, $65

Oh, and lest I forget...if you want tips on how to tie this bad boy, watch this video. I got to hang out with the beautiful and talented Cassie Kelley, who runs the blog Womanista.  We went for a little yogurt date over at Sweet Cece's where we stood right in front of all the candy.  Where else would we stand?  Well maybe in front of the yogurt, but those machines were real loud.  Stay tuned to the whole video cuz we both give you some of our fave spring trends too!

Johnston & Murphy for Gals. Yes, for Gals.

I showed y'all a look on Tuesday featuring one of the J & M men's styles.  I honestly thought before I met with the J & M peeps, that men's shoes were all they sold.  Well, they don't.  Today, the lovely Carrie put together a very "Carrie" outfit with maybe their most adorable ladies' pair out now--the Melody Captoe Slipper.  Just in case you love this look and want one for yourself, not only does Carrie know lipgloss, but she puts together a mean outfit.  Check her out over at her other biz, Style Me Perfect.

Suddenly So Cute::Johnston & Murphy

Johnston and Murphy?  I know.  I was pleasantly surprised myself to walk into the conference room/showroom here at their Nashville headquarters and see that they had some pretty amazing pieces!  The folks here at J & M recently brought me on board to put together some outfits with some of their new styles to show some ways to wear them to the office.  These were looks that could easily transition to a dinner or drinks after work, so they had to be stylish and office-appropriate!  It wasn't hard at all because their new product is SO GREAT!  I love the women's but am particularly impressed with the men's line, as I think it works so well with the revival in men's fashion of a more classically-dressed man.  Bow ties, fitted pants and jeans, tailored shirts, Billy Reid, and J. Crew all pair PERFECTLY with the new men's lace-up colors.

I will show you a men's outfit today featuring the classic Ellington wingtip and a women's outfit tomorrow that we put together for them.  Pretty handsome, huh?  I've always said I love a man in seafoam green pants.  I mean, haven't we all, ladies?  Let me know what you think!

One of the ads in their new ad campaign.  Love it.
