ALS Hair Diaries::Carrie's Faves

What would we do without girl friends?  You would trust her to tell you that "your butt looks big in those pants", and if she's like the gals at ALS, she knows her stuff when it comes to beauty products.   Well, we're definitely not here to talk about your butt.  Your butt = your biz.  But, we DO wanna be the gal pal who has tried every hair product and volunteers her expertise.  The three of us, Beth, Carrie and myself, have VERY different hair types, so there's something for everyone during this week of hair.  (Week of hair?  Could be gross, but not here!)  Through years of trial and error we have curated our favorite products, and starting with Carrie today, we wanted to share.  EEEEE!!!

Carrie and I are incredibly bad influences on each other when it comes, in particular, to peachy-pink lip glosses.  In fact, we could not buy another for approximately 7.5 years, and still have enough between the two of us for the Hunger Games apocalypse.  One thing we definitely don't have in common though is our hair type.  When I asked Carrie to describe her hair, she said, "very fine and SUUUUUUUUUPER straight." Her hair is also color-treated, and about shoulder length, fyi.  Check out how cute she is on sax at the Brett Eldredge video for "Don't Ya" above.  She had whipped her hair into submission with a CHI curling iron on that day, I think.   Her faves are below!
1.  Number 4 Clarifying Shampoo:  "I use it once a week.  It smells AMAZING."
2.  Batiste Dry Shampoo:  "I seriously use everyday. It's so lightweight and the blonde helps cover up roots. Essential for bangs.  Not to mention it's so affordable."
3.  Bumble and Bumble Sumotech:  "A must have for styling my layers."
4.  Kerastase Nectar Thermique:  "It's a lightweight, leave in cream that keeps hair from getting damaged from heat. SUPER important for my color treated hair. It smells really great.
5.  Aveda Pure Abundance Hair Potion:  "Sprinkle it in at your roots and rub in. It's great for creating a little lift, but be careful, a little dab will do ya!"
6.  Nioxin Diamax Thickening Xtrafusion Treatment:  "This is truly life-changing for people with fine, thin hair. Angelica (at Style Kitchen) introduced me to it, and I seriously can't believe how much volume it gives me."
