Tim McGraw and Taylor Swift::"Highway Don't Care" Video
I am so proud to have been the stylist on this stunning video for "Highway Don't Care" directed by Shane Drake. I worked with Tim McGraw and the actors on this two-day shoot, shot here in Nashville. One of the days, I swear I was in a dead sprint five or six times before 10 AM! It was a crazy couple of days, but turned out amazing. Bravo, Taillight (production company) and everyone involved!

3 at 3::Flat Sandals
How would any of us make it through the summer without a few pairs of really cool flat sandals. They really can make a summer outfit. I have the French Connection ones, which are stocked at the Perfect Pair here in Nashville. The jelly sole makes them SO comfortable!! Sam Edelman always makes a great sandal, and who can deny the design of a Jeffrey Campbell. Those gold plates are so rock and roll.
1 French Connection Terri Jelly Bottom Sandals, $80 // 2 Sam Edelman Gatsby, $130 //
3 Congo Plated Sandal by Jeffrey Campbell, $142

3 at 3::Nail Polishes
I am typing this right now with a great deal of regret. My nails aren't painted, and I feel like a shell of myself. I also think my hands look older, but that's neither here nor there. I am addicted to nail polish. See "nail polish party" a few weeks ago. There was no way I could go through the week of 3 at 3 and not pick 3 nail polishes. I kinda think these three might be the perfect spring colors. Not loud and out-there enough to be summery, just subdued enough for the still kinda-chilly nights of Spring.
#1 is maybe the perfect nude. It looks white in the picture, but it has a little bit of flesh tone, but not enough to blend into your skin (the worst.) It also has enough "oomph" to not look like you're just wearing sheer polish. I hate that about some nudes. It's like, it if I wanted to look like I wasn't wearing polish, I would just use a sheer top coat. #2 I haven't actually tried this one yet, but this is Drew Barrymore's new line exclusive to Wal-Mart, and I am just itching to try all the products. (And how perfect is this color??!!) She swears that all the products are super premium and worth way more than the price, so if someone who was in E.T. says it, then I automatically believe it. #3 comes highly recommended from this lady, also a lover of nail polish. She says this is her favorite pink, and I've seen it in person. It might be the perfect pink, AND it's less than $3. Wowzas.
1 "My Vampire is Buff" by OPI, $5.30 on Amazon // 2 Flower Nail'd It Nail Lacquer in
"Thistle OR That?", $4.98 Wal-Mart // 3 Forever 21 Nail Polish in "Baby Pink", $2.80

3 at 3::Graphic Tees
If there is one thing I can't live without, you know, besides Jesus, Matt, coffee, LSU football, and my dogs, it's graphic tees. They make up probably 50% of my outfits. I tuck them into skirts, wear them with skinny jeans and high-tops, they are great with all the new printed harem pats out there. And they are super cozy. In fact, my friend Caroline said the other day she thought she could pretty much be okay from here on out with just some good t-shirts and a couple blazers. I agree wholeheartedly, Caroline. Here are my 3 picks at 3:00 for this last day of April!
1 "Surf the Earth" tee by Surf Bazaar, $66 // 2 All Saints Tigre Boyfriend Tee, $68 //
3 Project Social T Los Angeles, $34

3 At 3::Maxi Dresses
3 at 3:00. Every day this week. That's my goal. Clearly, I have already missed it for today, as it is 6, and I am just now posting. But I have decided instead of doing my fave trends for Spring, etc., etc., all in one post, that it would be way more fun to spread it out all week by showing 3 faves for the season in several categories every day. At 3 pm.
We begin with the maxi dress. Maxi dresses are one of my favorite things to wear when it's hot outside. I don't always love myself in a pair of shorts, and let's be honest, it's hard to find a pair out there these days that aren't showing cheek. A maxi dress can be dressed up or down. With flat sandals, it's a day out running errands, just breezing around. With a small wedge, you're ready for a dinner date. They're also great for napping in my opinion, because it's like you're wearing a built-in blanket. When it's hot outside, sometimes you just have to take 'er easy. Am I right?
1 Zara Long Printed Dress, $89.90 // 2 Sabine Vegan Leather Chiffon Maxi Dress, $98 //
3 Oasis Chiffon Floral Print Maxi Dress, $124.69
