Brett Eldredge and Thomas Rhett::Zaxby's Commercials

I recently got to style two of my artists in one in a couple of Zaxby's ads that just came out. It's crazy to have seen a food commercial from an all-day perspective...the amount of chicken and "zalad" these guys had to eat was insane. You get to see their personalities really well in these ads, and it's gonna be so fun to see them together on the "Boots and Suits" tour this fall. Sign me up!!

Mother's Day with Ex Voto Vintage

Now that I'm a mother, I actually GET GIFTS on Mother's Day. Wahoo! What's hard is that you want something meaningful and cool, but it's also still *your money* buying the gifts...that whole "two become one" thing...I recently partnered up with Ex Voto Vintage to put together some picks of their jewelry that I would like for Mother's Day. I love that each piece is special and unique, and it's also in a great gift-giving price range. Check out their site! Their personalized pieces are especially great to me because you would wear them everyday and always have a happy thought when you saw the date or the name. Love that. And let's be honest about it, there are some really bad personalized things out there. Some zebra striped purses with hot pink monograms, some Comic Sans fonts on some coffee mugs. Their personalization is perfectly simple.

If you are going to order for Mother's Day, all special engraving has to be ordered by May 4 for on-time arrival. For Free Shipping on your Ex Voto Vintage order, use the code MOM2015 through May 11th!

So dainty, yet a little bit tough.

Looks like a ring that would be handed down from generation to generation.
(The non-engraved version is above)

This would look great paired with a watch or worn alone or mixed with other
bracelets on the other arm.

Tiny rings stacked and worn on every finger are so hot right now.

Those little bone pieces make this necklace really unique. Love the idea of this layered
with daintier gold necklaces above.

Brett Eldredge :: "Lose My Mind" Video

I'm really proud of how this video turned out! It was a challenge to style because 1) Rachel Hilbert, the girl in the video, didn't even make it to town until really late the night before we shot, and so we were not able to fit her until the morning of the video. Luckily she was perfect and everything looked amazing on her. PS. If you've walked into a Victoria's Secret lately, she's the girl plastered all over the PINK section. 2) We really wanted an authentic-looking straitjacket and those are really hard to come by. Found it in LA! That thing was FOR REAL. Let me know what you think!

Cole Swindell::"Ain't Worth The Whiskey" video

Recent work with Cole Swindell, shot by FlyHi Films. Love this guy! He's wearing a 7 Diamonds shirt in the bar scenes with Hudson jeans, and a Diesel jacket in the performance scene.

Plum Lips for Scaredy Cats. Also, How to Look Like Chrissy Teigen.

Chrissy Teigen at the Oscars 2014

I love a nude lip. I love a sheer gloss. I love a good lip balm. These are my go-to, everyday, gotta-pick-my-kid-up-at-preschool lipstick choices. Every now and then, I do like to spice it up for a girls' night or a date night, so I made it my mission to find a wearable plum lipstick that could also be worn during the day. I definitely have had those lipstick investments where I paid $25 for a great color, NARS lipstick in Schiap being one of them, and then could really only wear it two times a month. Wearing hot pink to buy groceries feels a little like wearing a sequin top to buy groceries. Certainly acceptable if you're feeling sassy, but maybe not my first choice.

Plum lips have been showing up all over red carpets, and I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the whole beauty look that Chrissy Teigen did at the Oscars. If you know anything about her, she seems like someone who would probably just share her lipstick with you because you would for sure be best friends. But, to get your own plum lipstick look at home, which you can also wear to Kroger mid-day without getting sideways looks from the cashiers at 10 AM, Lipstick Queen Glossy Pencil in Mystery is your ticket.

Dakota Johnson at the UK Premiere of 50 Shades of Grey

It looks super dark, but it goes on really light, and is very buildable.

Roar...Spice Up Those Winter Sweaters.

I often get so bored with winter clothes. There's only so much you can do with sweaters and jeans. There aren't any fun prints like in Spring and the colors are usually SO DRAB. In the winter, it's pretty easy to stick to your basic sweaters, but you should invest in the things that people will see most of the time--outerwear and shoes! If you have your coat on all the time, no one is going to be able to see what's underneath anyway, so you should have a killer coat. Same with your boots.

In this blog, we are focusing on one of my favorite footwear options for winter, the patterned bootie! For me, I chose leopard because I really do think you can treat it like a neutral, but snake is a good option too. I bought a Zara leopard bootie that is now sold out, but I chose an amazing Rag & Bone one for this blog, and there are a couple other more affordable options here and here. I love these snake print Vans and these snake booties from Free People as well. If the booties aren't enough for you to spice things up, add a colored beanie or what Rosie does below with the forest green bag. Forest green or burgundy would both be perfect choices to complement the bootie. Your booties. And your actual bootie.

Spring Pins! And Gingham!

Hey you guys. Happy New Year! Yeah, I know it's been the new year for, oh, almost two months, but it's just that having a baby that just turned one and trying to work full time has meant blogging hasn't been a priority. BUT--this brief hiatus has reminded me how much I love it, so my dear friends, 2015 is going to be the year of the Amber Lehman Styling blog. I don't care if I don't have the photoshop skillz to make this the most gorge blog ever, or if the template isn't the most up to date, the motto for 2015 is "TRY"...just do it. So, I'm over feeling bad about all that, and I'm moving on.

Between me, and Carrie, and Beth, we shop all the time, and we have the knowledge. And hopefully that's what you come to this blog for--tips and trends from people who ACTUALLY DO THIS FOR A LIVING. There. So, the first blog of the year is dedicated to spring pins I've found while I'm cooped up in the house because wrestling a one-year-old into a jacket like a wild hyena to go outside is just too much for me.

On this chilly Nashville day, I am dreaming about lighter layers and gingham. Yes, you heard me. Gingham. If you don't follow me on Pinterest, you should. Just my opinion. But I do think I'm a good pinner :). These and more can be found there!

A classic trench has been on my list for a while.

1) My buns never look that good. Not my hair buns anyway...hey-oooooooo. 2) I once got in a catfight in high school with a girl and I was wearing gingham shorts. Annnnd, now gingham is back, and I am not as young as I once was.
3) This is how you wear gingham.

Loving the sporty trend happening right now. This outfit has so much fun texture and gets a shot of "not so serious" with those sneaks.
